We've been busy

Well, last night Sophia took her first AND second major falls. The first one was on the slide and we won't even talk about why it happened or who was supervising, but it wasn't me. LOL She took a face plant into the grass. She just has a few scratches, but it scared us all half to death. Then, later Steve and I were in the kitchen talking and she tried to climb the bar stool which turned over on her and again scared us half to death. She is fine, but man I hope tonight is a little less eventful.

I have been dying and sewing a lot lately. Below are pictures of a custom order that I just completed for Jessica. She is getting a couple of surprises as well, but I'm sure she won't mind.

In other news I am meeting with my website designer tonight and the website should be ready to go by tomorrow. I don't know exactly when it will be fully stocked, but as soon as it is I am going to have my first trunk show. I am tentatively looking at April 25 and 26. That is tentative so don't mark your calendar just yet.

I'll post an update when the website is up and running just so you can see what it looks like. I think it is going to be very nice.

Introduction

Welcome to my blog. I am excited about this as I have never blogged before and think it will be loads of fun. The purpose of this blog is to keep everyone updated on the latest events that are going on in our personal lives as well as my latest business venture.

As you probably already know, mom and I have been sewing for Eden since she was a wee little thing






Wow it is so hard for me to believe that Eden is already 5 and in Pre-K.

I have sold things off and on for years on EBay and various other arenas. I have finally decided to take this a few steps further and actually start my own website. It is almost completed and should be up by tomorrow. However, I won't list a lot of items until I get it all figured out. I plan to have a grand opening in April.

I am also working on my very first trunk show. I will open up my home for 2 days and give as many local people as would like the opportunity to see, feel and even try on my boutique clothing items. I will also give, you, my friends the opportunity to host trunk shows for in order to earn free boutique clothing. It should be a lot of fun.

So, stay tuned for updates on the business and other things.

I have to take this opportunity while I have your attention to tell you that Sophia is now 20 months old, running around everywhere and talking up a storm. She must get her talking from her daddy. Her favorite phrase is "Elmo good" and she has said it so many times that I even believe it. I will leave you with a picture of her from last week wearing her brand new (M2MG) made by mommy skirt which matches the new Gymboree Tennis Match line.
